Aix-En-Provence

From its Roman roots and its art and architecture to its wine and culinary traditions, Aix-en-Provence indeed shows France, its people and its culture at its finest. The city, known simply as Aix, is in southern France, less than 30 km north of Marseille.

Bantimurung

A Dutch colonist once dubbed this place a ‘kingdom of butterflies’. A famous British environmentalist, on the other hand, depicted it as a paradise on earth. With its refreshing waterfalls and natural view, it is not surprising that foreign visitors fall in love with the beauty of Bantimurung.

Montmartre

One of the most noticeable objects that travelers see in Paris is a white domed temple like structure that looms over the horizon. This is actually the Basilica of the Sacred Heart or Sacré Cœur in French that's standing grand on a hill called Montmartre.

Villefranche-sur-Mer

Villefranche sur Mer is considered to be the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of the cities in its vicinity and from the regular day by day life. Its beaches are almost unexplored and very intimate, maintaining their seclusion even in high season during the summer.

Baliem Valley

The hills are blanketed with flowers, and the terraced fields are deep purple with dense sweet-potato leaves. It is a place where penis gourds are still very much trendy, women go about their daily activities topless, and pigs can buy you a wife.

Toulouse

Toulouse is unique and special in so many ways, that during time it got two nicknames: the Pink City and the City of Light. It is called the Pink City because it has an exceptional brick architecture which looks pink in the sun light. Due to the countless illuminated sights at night, it has gained the name of the City of Light.

Abu Dhabi

The city, with all its grandiosity and conspicuous wealth, is known to be a playground for the world's wealthiests. Formerly perceived as a lifeless city among sands, this place emerges as one of the fast-rising tourist destinations in the Middle East. The city we're talking about is none other than Abu Dhabi.

Toilet Bowl

Hanauma Bay is a Nature Preserve and a Marine Life Conservation District with astonishing views and azure waters. The main attraction of Hanauma Bay is the Toilet Bowl. The site is called so because of its shape and the flow of water which rises and falls with the tide. The water flows up and down exactly like a flushing toilet.

Toulon

Toulon is one of Cote d’Azur region attractions, being the most important naval center on the Mediterranean cost of France. Often compared with Nice, Cannes or Marsalis, Toulon’s old center had a lot to suffer after the the World War II attacks. Its history is mostly related to the navy.

Tignes

The Good Ski and Snowboarding Guide has listed Tignes along with its closest vicinity Val d’Isere as the only two areas in France which are covered with snow all year round. This high mountain resort has hosted the Winter Olympics in 1992 and it co-hosted the Winter Paralympics in the same year.
