Caboodle Ranch

Once raised to the status of gods because of their intelligence, cats are some of the most common pets in the present household. But not everybody recognizes their smart ways or the individual personalities in our furry little friends.

White Desert

When thinking about the mysterious sites of a desert we certainly do not consider chalky, snowy white, breathtaking domes, minarets or towers. Featured in the music video ''Echoes'' by the Klaxons, the Sahara el Beyda, Egypt's White Desert strikes through its unique arctic looking erosion monuments and is commonly referred to as the ''Valley of Carrots''.

Spaccanapoli Street is not only a reminder of the mighty Greco-Roman heritage but also an important part of the largest European city center designated UNESCO World Heritage Site.

St. Helena

Carrying the name Saint Helena reminding of the Constantinople empress sanctified by some of the major religions because she found the relics of the True Cross, this British island is one of the most isolated in the world. Due to its solitary position, the second oldest remaining colony after Bermuda was the place where French iconic figure Napoleon Bonaparte was exiled.

Platak

Platak is a small family ski resort with fantastic recreation and relaxation possibilities. Situated near Rijeka, it is probably the only skiing spot with the exceptional view of the open see from its top (1 363m).

Blood Falls

The ice queen Antarctica wearing the classic color white is usually described as the cold, isolated destination where serenity can come only with the pure shades of snow. The driest and coldest continent on Earth has one spot where water flows in the contrasting color red. The sanguine cascade amazes not only through its unexpected presence but also through its mysterious features.

Cape Hatteras

Known as the point where the cold and warm currents of the Atlantic collide, causing turbulent waters, frequent storms and the oh so feared hurricanes, Cape Hatteras bears a nickname reminding of disaster.

Tuvalu

With one of the smallest populations on Earth, the second lowest when it comes to maximum elevation and a physical land size which does not raise the numbers, Tuvalu is a small sovereign state with a rich heritage transmitted from a generation to another. Here, tradition is embraced by each family and the legends where man and nature commune enchant the curious traveler.

Leptis Magna

An African destination where Roman influence shines clearly and the ruins discovered here are some of the most spectacular in the Mediterranean, Leptis Magna was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site of great historical importance.
