Fresh and Spacious with a Great View
Brooklyn Bridge Park is a recently opened recreation area at the Manhattan end of the Brooklyn Bridge. The park has an area of 70 acres, and stretches 1.3 mile long along the East River. Its construction began in 2008, and the first section was opened to the public in 2010. The park is set to be financially self-sustaining, thus some parts of it are allocated for commercial and residential development.

Brooklyn Bridge Park has really clean lawns ideal for family picnics and lawn games. You can enjoy a volleyball or Frisbee game in the green expanse, while children can have lots of fun in the park’s playgrounds.
